In April, Frontier Airlines came out with the Go Wild: All-You-Can-Fly summer pass. With the pass, you can fly an unlimited amount of times to all the different destinations that Frontier flies to for the summer.
For a limited time, Frontier has sweetened the offering on the summer pass by dropping the price from $999 to $499. So, I want to dive into some of the different details of the pass so that you can see if it is something that will fit your flying needs.
How long does the promotion run?
The price drop from $999 to $499 runs until May 31st or until supplies last.
There is also an early booking promotion that is running with this offer. Through May 16th you can book travel that takes place before June 8th without the standard one day reservation window for domestic flights and the 10 day window for international travel.
How long can you use the pass?
The Frontier Airlines All-You-Can-Fly summer pass allows you to fly from April 11th through September 30th.
Where can you fly to?
You can use the pass to fly to Frontier’s 75 U.S. destinations including Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands. The pass will also allow you to fly internationally to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
Where can I buy the pass?
You can go to Frontier Airlines to sign up to get the pass.
What are the Terms and Conditions?
As with any airline deal, there are some terms and conditions that you should be aware of before purchasing the summer pass. Here are the key details:
- Flights are now available to book and fly
- Non-promotional flights can be booked and confirmed the day before flight departure for domestic travel and 10 days before flight departure for international travel
- Flights must be booked at flyfrontier.com
- Flights are subject to blackout periods
- Bags and seats are not included with the price of the pass
- Taxes, fees and charges apply at the time of booking
- A fare of $0.01 will be charged for each segment booked
- Flights and seats are subject to availability; last seat availability is not guaranteed
- The GoWild! Pass is non-transferable. The passholder is the only allowed passenger to travel with GoWild! Pass privileges
- The pass will automatically renew unless you cancel
Is the Frontier Airlines summer pass worth it?
The answer to this question depends on your travel plans. If you’re planning on taking multiple trips during the summer months, then this pass may be an excellent fit. However, if you plan on taking one or two trips, it may not be as cost-effective.
The pass is also best suited for someone that has some flexibility in their flying dates. You can only book flights one day before for domestic flights and 10 days before for international flights.
Plus, there is no guarantee that a seat will be available on a flight.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Frontier Airlines summer pass is a great deal especially if you plan on taking multiple trips for the summer and you have flexibility in your schedule. With the pass, you can fly to all 75 U.S. destinations and international cities for $499.
