You May Be Eligible for Chase Co-branded Offer

Chase has recently launched targeted bonus offers on various co-branded cards. With the offer, people can earn 10x bonus on gas and 5x on Amazon purchases, grocery stores and some even include home improvement stores.

Co-branded Card Offers

Last quarter, Chase offered targeted co-branded bonuses. The offers varied by branding and there was also a general offer that was consistent.

Some people received a 7x bonus on gas, groceries and home improvement centers. There was a general offer of 5x the points in those categories.

My wife and I both have the World of Hyatt credit card. She got the offer and I did not. She received the 5x offer and not the 7x offer. It took me a few days to get over the fact that she got the offer and I did not.

This quarter I have seen a number of different combinations of offers. One of them is offering 5x on gas, groceries and home improvement. Another offer I have seen is where people can earn 10x on gas and 5x on groceries and Amazon purchases.

It would be nice if the offer was for unlimited spending but the offer is for spending up to $1,500 total in all the eligible categories from October 1st through December 31st.

Some of the co-branded cards that I have heard are eligible for the bonus include Southwest, IHG, Marriott, and United cards. Some Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited cards also may be eligible.

You can check to see if any of your co-branded cards are getting the offer by clicking the following link. You will need to put in your last name, last four digits of your credit card and your zip code.

You will get approved or denied as soon as you click the activate now button. The message below is what you will see if you are denied.

When I checked the offer with my wife’s card, she got 5x the points for gas, groceries and home improvement stores. My Hyatt card did not get the offer. I am starting to think that they like her better than me.

Someone posted the following link on Facebook to see if your personal World of Hyatt card or the World of Hyatt business card is eligible.

The page below is what you should see when you click on the link. You will fill out the same information as the last link.

I checked my wife’s card and she got the 10x offer by using this link versus the other link. I am hoping that she has the 10x offer instead of the 5x offer that was shown before. I won’t know until the next billing statement.

Final Thoughts

If you didn’t get an email from Chase about getting the targeted offer, use the link(s) above to check to see if one of your co-branded cards is eligible. What do you have to lose?

This is a great way to earn some easy points for the last quarter of the year.
